This weekend has very little chance of rain.
So the dry air can be beneficial. Weekends are great for going to your favorite nature spot to go for a walk or have a picnic.
I usually go to the Bosque spot off of Alameda. But there is also the Willow Creek trailhead in Bernalillo.
Albuquerque National Weather Service promises more rain next week.
“Drier air will arrive today with a down-tick in thunderstorm coverage most places. Precipitation chances will increase again with the arrival of better monsoon moisture and a few moist backdoor fronts during the coming work week,” Albuquerque national Weather Service Meteorologist Scott Overpeck said.
Don’t forget to wear sunscreen and drink plenty of water while out in the sun.
