Exhibit honors Native Americans' role in U.S. military history

Why We Serve: Native Americans in the United States Armed Forces pays tribute to the significant contributions made by Native Americans in the US military since the American Revolution. The exhibition provides an in-depth view of their involvement from historical times to the present, showcasing how they have served often in large numbers.

The exhibition is a collaborative effort between the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service and the National Museum of the American Indian.

This exhibit will be on display at Loma Colorado Main Library from March 22 through June 1, 2025.
