Sandoval County officials take office after swearing-in ceremonies

During the week of December 30, 2024, Sandoval County conducted several swearing-in ceremonies for its elected and re-elected officials. The oaths of office were administered by 13th Judicial District Court Judge Allison Martinez.

The officials sworn in included Jay C. Block for New Mexico Senate District 12, Alan T. Martinez for New Mexico House of Representatives District 23, Kathleen Cates for District 44, Catherine Cullen for District 57, and Joshua Hernandez for District 60. Additionally, Jon Herr was sworn in as Sandoval County Commissioner for District 2, Jordan Juarez for District 4, and Joshua A. Jones for District 5. Anne Brady-Romero took the oath as Sandoval County Clerk and Jennifer A. Taylor as Sandoval County Treasurer.

In a separate ceremony, Chief Deputy Treasurer Jessica McParlin and Chief Deputy Clerk Joey Dominguez were also sworn in.
