Residents of Rio Rancho have the opportunity to recycle their holiday trees at the Rio Rancho Sports Complex from December 26, 2024, through January 6, 2025. The facility will be open for this purpose between 7 am and 9 pm. It is important for participants to ensure that their trees are free of decorations, lights, tinsel, and stands. Artificial trees will not be accepted.
Additionally, free mulch will be available to residents while supplies last. This initiative is supported by PNM and Keep Rio Rancho Beautiful.
