City Manager Matt Geisel has provided the Recommended Fiscal Year 2025 (FY 25) Budget for municipal government operations and services and the Capital Program (FY 25-29) to the Mayor and City Council. The FY 25 budget spans July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025.
"The Governing Body will take public comment on the FY 25 Recommended Budget and Capital Program during its regular monthly meetings at City Hall on May 9 and May 23 at 6 p.m."
Per the City’s Charter, the Mayor of Rio Rancho has until April 25 to review the recommended budget and capital program and submit written comments to the city manager. The FY 25 Recommended Budget and Capital Program can be viewed by visiting www.rrnm.gov/fy25budget.
"The Recommended FY 25 Budget and Capital Program will be reviewed by the Governing Body (Mayor and City Council) at a budget hearing on Thursday, April 25, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at City Hall (3200 Civic Center Circle). The hearing will be streamed live and archived on the City’s website."
"A vote to adopt a budget for FY 25 and Capital Program will occur at the Governing Body’s May 23 meeting."
