Black History Month County Proclamation

Sandoval resident, Bishop David C. Cooper, (third from right) senior pastor of New Hope Full Gospel Baptist Church, Albuquerque, received the  County Proclamation for Black History Month at the February 8, 2023, Sandoval County Commission Meeting. Bishop Cooper has served in ministry for more than 30 years throughout the United States, the Bahamas, and Europe. Commissioner Joshua A. Jones, District 5, (far right), presented the Proclamation to Bishop Cooper earlier in the meeting. Joining Bishop Cooper on the dais are (from left): Commissioner Jay C. Block, District 2; Vice Chair Michael Meek, District 3; Chair David Heil, District 4; and Commissioner Katherine A. Bruch, District 1.
