From January 19, 2023 post.

Sheriff Jesse James Casaus and the Sandoval County Sheriff's Office is proud to announce a never before new Chaplin's program. The Chaplin's program will assist deputies with calls where it might be traumatic for victims or family members, provide support of department employees and their families and assist with resources that might be needed. They are required to do 8 hours per month of ride-a-longs and attend training once a month detailing counseling, police procedures and communications. Lt Tomlinson oversees the program and has worked very hard to get this program up and running. Good job to all who assisted in making this a success.
