Snow Likely Through Monday

It will be calm until Sunday when chances of snow are between 60 and 70 percent through Monday.

Albuquerque National Weather Service says, “The strongest storm system in the ongoing series will begin with widespread rain and mountain snow over central and western areas Sunday. Gusty cold front to cross from the west Sunday night lowering the snow level to valley bottoms. Snow will then linger through Monday.”

Snowfall is expected to produce less than an inch, though this is subject to change.

TodayPartly sunny, with a high near 46 with a low around 30. West wind 5 to 15 mph.

SaturdayPartly sunny, with a high near 50 and a low around 33. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph.

New Year’s DayShowers likely after 11am. Cloudy, with a high near 49 and a low around 32. Southeast wind 5 to 15 mph. Rain showers likely before 11pm, then a chance of snow showers. Chance of precipitation is 70%.

MondayA chance of rain and snow showers before 11am, then a slight chance of rain showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 45 and a low around 27. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
