Over this past weekend, Sheriff Jesse James Casaus was mountain biking in Placitas on the Strip Mine Trail and had a mishap in a rocky area. He would like to express his sincere gratitude to the hikers, mountain biker and Sandoval County Fire Rescue who assisted him in his time of need. Sheriff Jesse James Casaus was transported to a local hospital and underwent surgery Sunday, regarding his injuries.
The Sheriff is doing well and is anxious to get back to work. Again, he can’t thank everyone enough for all the help and support during this trying time.
