Of the 2,060 people living in San Ysidro in 2019, 45.2 percent (931) were women and 54.8 percent (1,129) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Sandoval News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 656-to-581. In the 65 and over age range, there were 167 females and 141 males.
