Rio Rancho Regional Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Dec. 4.
This Grants starts on Monday December 7th and benefits businesses and non-profits with 0 to 100 employees.

To maximize your application amount please ensure the following plus what is in the deck:
- Ensure you have all items listed in the deck to apply for funds.
- You will not be able to save and continue later, it must be completed all at once
- Incomplete applications will not be approved and you may not receive notification to update the application
- Choose the month with the maximum amount of employees you had on payroll as long as it is less than 100.
- If you have over 100 employees you need to find a month when you were below 100 to qualify
- Know your NAICS code
- Make sure you have a cancelled or voided check to attach
- All documentation must be attached
- If you have received grants from the city, county, PPP or even an EIDL loan you will still qualify
- Grants are awarded based on NUMBER OF EMPLOYEES and contract employees do not count toward that number. However, part-time employees do.
- Grants are from $2k for solopreneurs up to $50k for those with large numbers of employees.
- Begin working on the application immediately!
