City of Rio Rancho issued the following announcement on Sept. 18.
When it comes to water the city of Rio Rancho's Office of Water Conservation also promotes Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. Reducing your water consumption not only conserves one of our most precious resources but also lowers your water bills. You can reduce water consumption by:
*Replacing old toilets with high-efficiency WaterSense labeled toilets
*Replace old clothes washing machines with a high-efficiency machine and us 30% less water
*Replace old irrigation controller with a SMART controller to conserve in the yard
