Rio Rancho’s Ablefit Strength Fitness Gym is moving to a new location at Rockaway and 528.
Formerly UFC Gym Rio Rancho, a few months ago the gym rebranded. Ablefit Strength Fitness Gym is owned, and led, by top-tier personal trainer Mark Morgenstern who purchased the gym four years ago.
Morgenstern has been a regular in ABQ The Magazine’s Best of the City in the ‘Best Personal Trainer’ category. He has placed in the top 5 of personal trainers for six straight years. On top of that, Morgenstern was voted ‘Best Business Owner’ in Rio Rancho the Magazine 2020.
Ablefit Strength Fitness Gym offers free weights, personal training and group fitness classes.
The group fitness classes include strength and conditioning, boxing and kickboxing, sparring and jiu jitsu classes. The gym also serves as a USA weightlifting club affiliate.
According to the Able Strength Fitness website, the gym’s focus is to improve athletic performance whether your goal is fitness related, sport related or competition related.
“[I am] just excited to start this new chapter. We’re excited to bring our unique fitness experience and strong community environment further into Rio Rancho. Small gym vibes with big gym energy,” said Morgenstern.
The move is expected to take place in August, and members will be notified when they have an exact date.
Their current location is within a mile of Elite Physique Gym, Westside Power Gym and the future site of a new Defined Fitness location.
