Pioneer Ace Hardware to give away American flags

Pioneer Ace Hardware will give away free American flags on Saturday, May 28 to honor the Memorial Day holiday.

New Mexico lost 147 soldiers in the Korean war and 256 in the Vietnam conflict.

Consumers visiting the store at 4100 Sabana Grande Ave SE, Rio Rancho will receive a free 8’ by 12’ American flag. A second will be donated to the local VFW Horacio Martinez Post to be used for marking veterans’ graves on Memorial Day.

This year, Ace Hardware Corporation aims to again give away more than one million American flags nationally. Last year, it gave away more than 500,000 to Ace customers and more than 550,000 to more than 1,900 VFW Posts.

Flags will be available at Pioneer Ace Hardware while quantities last. Each consumer is limited to one free flag; no purchase is necessary.

Pioneer Ace Hardware is located at 4100 Sabana Grande Ave SE, Rio Rancho, New Mexico. This location is owned by Dean S. Fujiwara, represented by Rick McKee and managed by Shari L. Ogata.
