State Senator Jay Block, a Republican representing New Mexico’s 12th Senate district since 2025, has recently used his social media platform to discuss medical malpractice and promote community engagement.

On September 25, 2025, Block wrote about the impact of medical malpractice on healthcare access and invited constituents to share their experiences: “I keep talking about medical malpractice and how it affects your care and access. I will be on a panel Monday, 29 Sep from 1-4PM at the Sandoval County Commission chambers. Please come out and support and tell us your story.” This event is set to take place at the Sandoval County Commission chambers.

Later that day, Block posted a brief message accompanied by a link: “Beautiful. https://t.co/vcp5dDOTaf” He followed up with another post referencing the Marine Corps motto alongside an image or video: “Semper Fi. Beautiful. https://t.co/8RIRnraJCB” Both posts were published on September 25, 2025.

Block succeeded Jerry Ortiz y Pino as state senator for New Mexico’s 12th district following his election in 2025.
