Man Fatally Shot at Bus Stop in South Valley

A man was fatally shot at a bus stop Thursday afternoon in the South Valley.
Jayme Fuller, a Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman, said the suspect drove away in a rusty and blue Chevy El Camino.
She said deputies responded around 2 p.m. to a shooting at the bus stop near Perry and Isleta SW.
Deputies found a man with a gunshot wound and he died at the hospital.
Fuller said witnesses told deputies that the suspect shot the person and fled in the El Camino.
BCSO released a photo of the El Camino and asked anyone with information to call detectives at 505-967-6522 or email ViolentCrimes@bernco.gov.
