Letter: What’s in a Name? Plenty. Rr Hockey Team Names to Mull

0Comments

I’ve been seeing news about a new hockey team, the proposed Rio Rancho Raptors, planning to take up residence and play at the Rio Rancho Events Center. Before this happens, though, I’d like to contribute some alternate team names that might speak to our region and situation better than “Raptors.”
The Cabezon Captors
The Rt. 528 Distracted Drivers
The High Court Hooligan Crew
The Rio Rancho Dirt Bike Din
The Loma Linda Left Lane Laggards
The Very Evil Enchanted Hills Vehicle-Swallowing Potholes
Okay, we’re getting a little out of control here, but you get the idea. Thanks!
