State Senator Jay Block, a Republican representing New Mexico’s 12th Senate district since 2025, shared several opinions and endorsements on his Twitter account on May 16, 2026.

In a post from the early morning hours, Block expressed enthusiasm by writing, “How awesome is this???!!!!” (May 16, 2026).

Later that day, Block commented on Oregon politics with the statement: “This would be huge in Nov. The people in Oregon have to be tired of failed leftist politicians.” (May 16, 2026).

He also criticized local conditions and voiced support for a candidate named Spencer, stating: “Bassville parks are disgusting. Elect Spencer!!!” (May 16, 2026).

Block began serving in the New Mexico State Senate after winning election in 2025. He succeeded Jerry Ortiz y Pino as senator for the state’s 12th district.
