State Senator Jay Block, a Republican representing New Mexico’s 12th Senate district since 2025, recently shared several posts on his social media account addressing political issues and community involvement.

On October 18, 2025, Block commented on actions by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), stating: “This is another one the Democrats love over you and your family. Great job DHS!”

The following day, October 19, he highlighted his participation in a local charitable event: “Jenn and I were honored to attend the Blue Star Mother’s of America. Dinner and fundraiser last night. Thank you Dru and Danny for the invite! Please check out this wonderful organization and support! https://t.co/etsHszWCA7 Mission Statement We are mothers, stepmothers,” wrote Block.

Later that same day, Block criticized protests against monarchies occurring in countries with reigning kings: “Only the radical nobility left would have their No King’s Day protest in countries where there are actually king’s! LOL…nice job your majesties. #leftylogic @NMDEMS @NMSenate_GOP @NewMexicoGOP”

Block was elected to the New Mexico State Senate in 2025 after replacing Jerry Ortiz y Pino as senator for District 12.
