State Senator Jay Block, a Republican representing New Mexico’s 12th Senate district since 2025, shared several updates on his official X account regarding recent political and veterans’ affairs activities.

On October 14, 2025, Block posted, “Historic day! Thanks to Trump!!!” On the same day, he followed up with another post stating, “Amazing!”

The following day, Block detailed committee activities: “Today on the Military & Veterans’ Affairs Committee we met with UNM-Gallup leadership to discuss better ways to support our vets. We also met with the Veterans Liaison to the Navajo Nation, and we received an update on the Code Talkers Museum site from their board. All important” (October 15, 2025).

Block was elected to the New Mexico State Senate in 2025, succeeding Jerry Ortiz y Pino as the representative for the 12th Senate district.
