State Senator Jay Block, a Republican representing New Mexico’s 12th Senate district, posted a series of messages on his social media account between October 13 and 14, 2025.

On October 13, Block shared a brief welcome message, writing, “Welcome home!!!!” Later that day, he posted another message stating, “Say my name: https://t.co/wWaRk0abwL https://t.co/sRaMXsh9XT”.

On October 14, Block commented on a political topic, writing, “Very solid ticket. Unbeatable. Rubio can side hustle as Sec State, Sec War, NSA, and Chief of Staff.”

Block was elected to the New Mexico State Senate in 2025, succeeding Jerry Ortiz y Pino as the representative for the 12th Senate district.
