State Senator Jay Block, a Republican representing New Mexico’s 12th Senate district, has recently shared a series of posts on social media addressing national and local topics.

On October 9, 2025, Block commented on national political coverage, stating, “Even far-left MSNBC is praising Trymp! They even admit in this clip Biden couldn’t find the right path to get it done. Nobel Peace Prize for Trump. #Trump #peacemaker #NobelPeacePrize”.

The following day, on October 10, 2025, Block highlighted his participation in an event honoring law enforcement support organizations: “Yesterday I was asked along with Rep Cullin to read a proclamtion we passed in the Senate and House honoring the 100 Club. What’s the 100 club? It is an incredible organization that provides aid to and assist by financial or other means, the families of sworn police and other law”.

On October 11, 2025, Block posted a brief congratulatory message: “Wow!!!! Great job!!!!”.

Block was elected to the New Mexico State Senate in 2025 after replacing former state senator Jerry Ortiz y Pino.
