State Senator Jay Block, a Republican elected in 2025 to represent New Mexico’s 12th Senate district, has posted several critical comments on his social media account regarding recent political developments and public safety actions.

On November 6, 2025, Block criticized unnamed officials from New Mexico, stating, “Of course, the two do nothings from New Mexico are missing in action.”

Later that day, he commented on a political opponent’s fundraising efforts following an election victory. Block wrote, “The anti-Jew, anti-police socialist is now asking for money from YOU one day after he wins. That didn’t take long. If he’s going to push free, (aka taxpayer) grocery stores, childcare, buses, etc, than why does HE need YOU to give him more of YOUR money? This guy is a total fraud” on November 6.

In another post published the same morning, Block praised law enforcement efforts: “Great work taking these criminals off the street protecting us.”

Block succeeded Jerry Ortiz y Pino as state senator for New Mexico’s 12th district following his election in 2025.
