The following day, October 13, 2025, Block criticized fellow New Mexico politicians in relation to the ongoing federal government shutdown. He wrote, “Negotiating with Hamas to stop a war is easier than dealing with Martin and the Ds. Want to know why our New Mexicans who have federal jobs aren’t getting paid?
