State Senator Jay Block, a Republican representing New Mexico’s 12th Senate district since 2025, recently posted a series of messages on his Twitter account addressing both domestic and international issues.
On October 19, 2025, Block posted in support of an individual named Scott and his team: “Pray for Scott and his team. They are doing an incredible job. If only we had 20 million like Scott. I think we do! Bless this man.”
The following day, on October 20, 2025, Block issued a warning directed at Hamas: “I wouldn’t cross that line Hamas fellas. Comply. Peace must last.” In a separate post minutes later, he added: “Just so you know….”
Block was elected to the New Mexico State Senate in 2025 after replacing former state senator Jerry Ortiz y Pino. As a member of the Republican Party, he represents the state’s 12th Senate district.
