Bright Sunny Day and Hot Again, Slight Chance for Showers

As Bob Marley and the Wailers say, “(Thursday evening) get on the rise; A new day is dawning.” It’s another hot day as we get closer to the weekend.
It’s a good day to stay inside and maybe play a board game or two with family. I usually play a casual game of chess with my significant other now and again.

“Hot temperatures are forecast over much of northern & central NM today with readings in the 90’s & lower 100’s common in elevations below 6,000 ft.,” Albuquerque National Weather Service Meteorologist Scott Overpeck said.
Hopefully we will catch a break soon, but that is highly unlikely until at least September.
Here’s today’s look ahead:
It will be mostly sunny and hot with a high around 100 and a low around 70. There will be isolated showers and thunderstorms between 3 p.m. and midnight. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Have a wonderful day!
